Senior Matinee - The City of Longwood shows a movie every third Wednesday of each month from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Longwood Community Building. 200 West Warren Avenue. Enjoy a movie on the BIG SCREEN, and bring a lunch. Popcorn & beverages are provided.
Blue Grass Pickin' - The City presents Blue Grass Pickin' every 3rd Saturday of the month. This is a free and open event. Musicians and spectators are welcome to participate or listen. The program is held at the Longwood Community Building. 200 West Warren Avenue.
Seniorcise - Seniorcise is offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:00 am in the Longwood Community Building. 200 West Warren Avenue.
Gardening & Greening
South Seminole Farm and Nursery has free gardening classes every Saturday and special classes each month. You can get information on classes and the nursery location by by calling 407-695-3247. They will also recycle pots so be sure to bring your old pots in when you visit them. Publix also takes in any Styrofoam for recycling, using the proceeds to add to their employees retirement plan.
